The HEX 4 C-W expands the Hertz Marine HEX range with a compact 4-inch coaxial solution engineered to deliver premium marine sound quality where installation space is limited. Ideal for consoles, cabins, T-tops, and secondary listening areas, it provides the same acoustic signature and reliability that have made HEX a reference for marine audio enthusiasts. Designed to withstand the harshest marine environments, the HEX 4 C-W is Hertz Pure Marine Certified™, featuring IP65 water protection, UV resistance compliant with ASTM-D4329 standards, and salt fog resistance tested according to ASTM-B117. Every component has been developed to ensure long-lasting performance in the presence of moisture, salt, and prolonged sun exposure.
The high-efficiency tweeter, optimized through advanced FEM simulation, delivers smooth and detailed high frequencies with wide off-axis dispersion, ensuring excellent sound clarity throughout the boat. The compact 4-inch woofer, equipped with a 25 mm (1”) voice coil and specifically tuned for infinite baffle applications, provides balanced mid-bass response while requiring minimal mounting depth.
A sealed integrated crossover with resettable solid-state tweeter protection safeguards system reliability over time, while corrosion-resistant nickel-plated terminals ensure secure electrical connections even in demanding marine conditions.
